Hi,

I got a playfield with 3 or 4 damaged screw holes, so damaged that the guy didn't bother to screw something else so I have few post-less spots

What the best way to fix this holes so I can screw back some post...   if I feel with epoxy and drill a hole will do? What product do you recommend?

thanks

I would not say it is the "best" method, however, I have used the "toothpick" method with success many times.

Basically, break a toothpick off in the hole, then screw the screw in...It works well IMHO.

If you really want the post to be in there solid, soak the toothpicks in carpenters glue before stuffing them into the hole as filler. Screw in the post screw and you won't have an issue with it again.

yes , the glue should be used along with a small piece of wood... (a wood match might be better if the hole is big)

Wood particles mixed with carpenter's glue.  Fill the hole, let dry at least 24 hours and you are set it will be as good as new.  The mix should be like a paste.

hope this helps

That's what I do as well, it works great

The toothpick method is good in a pinch, but for a more permanent solution, I'd do the method above.

To make the process cleaner, fill the hole from below if possible.
