If I wasn't 100% nuts before, I think I definitely should be committed this time...just bought an IJ and an TAF from gauchopinball in Argentina...GREAT deals as no one else was bidding!!! The machines look great and the guy has a decent rep. I was very happy to see the shipping costs too...almost the same as from the US, but only to the airport. I'm a little nervous of course, but WHAT THE $##$^#^^#$#^^#&%&^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever stop to think why no-one else was bidding... ? I've heard nothing but horror stories about this guy. Most of them about rusted-out "everything" due the high humidity and salty air. Cosmetics are "usually" OK , but everything under the hood is rusted out and needs to be replaced... I sure hope your gamble pays off. You've got more "cojones" than me ! Keep us posted. cheers, Steph |

Have you Googled rgp posts a bit ? I just did in the past half an hour, maybe its still time to cancel Jim... People who bought from him wrote that he was using the same pictures over and over again, they are not of the games he ship.. missing DMDs, coils, flippers assemblies, hacked boards, etc.. were some of the things mentionned. A guy bought a 33 pins container and said only half were salvageable... All in all, everyone seems to agree on one point "never again". I wish you best of luck with these and sincerely hope that you get the nice games that you bidded on (IJ looks great in the pictures, hopefully it will be). Sylvain |

Eeesh! I have heard stories of pins just being left outside baking in the sun.
Jvegas you definitely are a gambling man as your name suggests. Who knows you might get lucky. |

Lucky for jim would be catching only syphillis or gonerea instead of AIDS... People stopped dealing with OUCHO in 2002 because their containers were getting worse and worse.... i can't find the pictures of the special argentinian mold spores or the literal rats nest splice job in the wiring harness at the moment, nor can i find all the rust pics but what makes the cabinet picture special.. is that after bondo'ing it to perfection. we realized there was absolutely no part of the playfield resting where that chewed support was.. how or why it got mangled remains a mystery or OUCHO artisan trade secret. RUN JIM.. RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK.

If you haven't paid, you can get your bank to provide an escrow service, prior to the customs release of the goods. When they arrive, you could get a customs officer to go with you, to open them up, and check them out, then either approve the release, or refuse the shipment.... It wouldn't hurt to have a level of protection. |

HOLY S$$$T!!!!! I'm FREAKING out now...should have done some DD for sure...They are SUPPOSEDLY sending me pix of the machines insides today...they claim these are local machines that have been meticulously restored..they are not re-imports or projects. But who really knows??? The prices were cheap though...hey I'm trying to find a silver lining here!!

Well there would be your out for them misrepresenting what they have if the pictures come back showing otherwise. |

Be interesting to see the pictures he sends, and hopefully they're solid.... but hey, am I the only one that finds this shot "more" disturbing than the tortured Cirqus Voltaire? Craig |
