This Machine rules!! wicked artwork and the PF is awesome! huge thanks to Sylvain! Thoroughly shopped by him, my pictures can do no justice, this machine looks and works great, period
Thanks for the kudos. I am really glad you like the machine !
While EMs are not as sophisticated as Twilight Zone or other modern collectable games, I still find that EMs are fun to fix, are really affordable (for most of them), and are still quite a bit of fun to play!
I still marvel at the Design, production, overall simple game rules but still some challenge, that the designers were able to do with the available technology at the time...
Plus the artwork is a real time-capsule snapshot of the era !
Enjoy your new 'old' game !
Cheers, - Sylvain.
Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, 1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others. Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
i owned one of these a few years back. erin wanted it. turned out to be one of our fav's back then. we owned the circus widebodie also to put beside it. even being a EM, big show was a much better machine.

Hey Gory,
I really enjoy the fact that you include your wife in a lot of your posts, and the fact she has an appreciation for pinball (arcade). Phantabulous! I'm pretty fortunate myself in the fact that Tracy, my girlfriend, loves pinball, and she provides me with some pretty competative pinball. I often encourage her to bet with my buddies in a game, but she's far too nice. Then again most of my friends aren't really up to that challenge, as I've suggested it on a few occassions.
The condition of that playfield looks pretty impressive. A good place to start in terms of repairing pinballs (hint hint). There are a lot of great playing EM's. I hope to always have a few in my collection. Great bang for your buck and the sounds are somewhat addicting. Nice machine!

flashman
Flashman, totally, Sylvain did an incredible job on the PF, it looks and plays phenomenally. Indeed, I hope to get into more evolved levels of pin repair too, since I'm still at ground zero, I can fix obvious problems, but not yet at the point where I'm able to TRACE a problem fluently from playfield back to supply
