I'll be intouch once I get mine (so that I don't compete with you).

good luck with teh rest of your wanted games.

Terrance, what's the deal with these prices? They're all insane!

I wouldn't think so - I would just say there are two prices in the pinball/vid market.  The price a collector will pay, and the price an uninformed nostalgia seeker will pay.

The collector is aware of the price guide and knows what to look for in a pinball to ensure its "fully working".

The nostalgia seeker isn't interested in learning much about the hobby and just wants a pin in their house.    These folks end up paying more than a collector - but in my mind that's fair as they haven't invested the time in the hobby to learn the ins & outs.   Some argue that you are screwing the nostalgia-seeker and alienating them from the hobby in doing so.   I think the first few pins I bought were over the price the informed-maaca member would pay.   C'est la vie...

The prices Terrance is asking is more geared towards a "nostalgia seeker" as they are above the price guide.   That's fair to ask that price - as the seller might not want to sell for any less.

I am looking for collector or dealer pricing, since I fix them up and  sell them to nostalgia seeker's for a profit (well sometimes   ) , so $1600 for High Speed is a bit out of my league. The want list is for a buyer.

I'd pay $1600 for a High Speed, if Steve Ritchie delivered it and set it up for me.
