I have the chance to buy some cheap decals however they have the following defect:

There is one vertical line from top to bottom where the decal has delaminated from the backing.  The line is approx 1/8th inch wide and is in the middle of the decal.  No other "bubling" whatsoever and are otherwise in perfect shape.
Question for the experts:  Can this decal still be properly installed?

What kind of decals? Insert or cab. Rest assured that if they are old the part that delaminated will be dry and not adhere regardless.

Apply some 3M 77 type of spray adhesive to the back where that line has dried up and you will probably be ok.
