Intermediate Technical Support Specialist Corporate Headquarters - Laval, QC The Intermediate Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
* Providing first line support on software applications for all incoming technical calls from our customers. * Enhancing customer contact problem/resolution tracking by logging all support calls and providing feedback to management. * Enhancing customer relationships through consistent and timely technical support and escalation policies. * Following policies, procedures, and performance standards for technical support. * Interacting with clients for installation and training for products at various locations (including Paris!)
Description

Technical expertise required
Essential:
* Three to five years experience in software application support. * Minimum 3 years experience in a Customer Service and or support help desk environment. * Experience in installing and configuring MS Windows 2000 & XP operating systems TCP/IP networking * Experience using a known call tracking software.
Asset:
* Software installation and support for applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SQL.
Education / Experience
* DEC in computer science or equivalent. * Proven track record in dealing with large clients. * Bilingual French & English * Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments. * Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking fast paced environment.
