In my 5 years of fatherhood with 2 kids, it's the only kids show I've ever 'censored' and said "You can't watch that junk."  It is pure mumbly-jumbly crap.

My son who is now 20 months likes Night Garden. He watches at 7:30 pm and is primed for 'sleepy times'.

My daughter who is now five just went through her Scooby Doo faze. She watched the first two seasons almost non-stop then onto the newer versions (which I don't think are nearly as good, imho). Season 1 Episode 7 - Never Ape an Ape Man is her favorite. However, she refuses to go back in Scooby's Haunted House at Wonderland.

I personally have never tried, but I am told this and its predecessor show Teletubbies are like a shroom experience.

Yeah... Teletubbies, BoohBahs and Night Garden... all shows without a point. Backyardigans have great stories and music. My son loves watching them, and has for over 2 years. I even sit with him and actually enjoy them. They do have a story.

Mickey Mouse Club, Bo on the Go, Dora, Diego, Max and Ruby, Toopy and Binoo, Jimmy Neutron... all kid shows with at least a story, and that is what I let my kids watch.

But yes... Night Garden sometimes pops on the tube before bedtime, but my son rarely asks for it.

(Does it show I have kids? I am proud to say that I have watched Cars 87 times, Toy Story 63 times, Wall-E 46 times and Jimmy Neutron 34 times. Yes, I keep count.)
