Hmmmm! Nothing good ever comes out of these things.  Courtesy goes both ways..... I have never lost an argument while debating the French English situation.  However, I never won one either.  Some of my best friends in life are Anglophones and we have gone back and forth about the whole French/English in Canada, we did it sober and not too sober and guess what.............nothing.

I have gone out of my way to learn English, both writing and speaking.  It has been a great experience and I am still learning.  However, I have had the pleasure of working with Anglophones that had done the same thing and it is nice to experience this.  I currently work with Anglophones that would put Francos to shame when it comes to speaking and writing.  Thus, anyone can come back with counter arguments and the story will never end.

We must not take things personal.  As I always say, if I ever want to insult an Anglophone, I will do it in English just to make sure he really understands what I am saying!  

So for all of you, get a freaking life and turn on one of those machines you have in your game room and play it instead of debating about French/English. Or you can have sex, sex is always good in either official languages.

Another history lesson... the French section was created due to requests by Francophone members. It is not to separate anyone. It is not to have EXCLUSIVELY French posts there and EXCLUSIVELY English posts elsewhere.

No, seriously, it was merely to have a section where unilingual francophones could get some info. It doesn't mean that you can't post in another language.

Like I always say... language, religion and politics. 3 subjects that never end up going well.
