it would be faster to ask them for a sample, tell them how many square feet you are looking at and who their canadian distributor is...
but somethin tells me you never bought industrial carpet before. So i suggest you find a barrel and assume the position. the price is usually 5X what normal carpet goes for... ($12-20 a square foot).
The reason it's expensive is that it can handle like 100-200K foot traffic on a constant basis; whereas if you put normal carpet in an area with even 20K foot traffic over two days it will fall apart... Why i mention all this is that the intended market is an arcade (industrial strength), so dont' be surprised with the price
my eyes hurt looking at the home page but what hurts even more is the 1000 sq yard (not feet, YARDS) minimum to place an order. Just imagine the shipping on something that freaking huge and heavy
Actually the 1000 Sq Yd minimum only applies to patterns they have to manufacture. If they have it in stock there is no minimum (it's in the fine print).

I have to admit that I never checked into minimum order quantities Mike says the fine print states no minimum on standard lots, I believe him but damn I couldn't find it. Yes the sight isn't very user friendly...'my eyes hurt looking at the home page'...He** mine were pratically bleeding when I was done.

The fine print is irrelavent... It's all about supply and demand. They state the 1000sq ft minimum on the first bunch photos because there is absolutely zero in stock. It's new designs. They are waiting for the first orders before they fire up the mills to fufill the order. The chances of obtaining any of that stuff (without minimum) this year is next to zero. The stuff at the bottom of the page (with no minimums mentioned) were new designs from two or three years ago that they happened to sell yet have some left over and want to move. i hazard a guess that when they fire up a minimum order, they probably have 25% surplus that they try to sell to other customers.
or maybe Mr. Hide just orders the minimum and then gets rich selling the left overs to others when he goes to the conventions. Profit..Profit..Profit!
or maybe a team of us goes to the new cinema guzzo's and quietly start tugging on one corner of the room till we peel off enough carpet

Here is a site that looks more set up to give you a price bottom line shipped to Canada for a rug of this material. I would assume they are binding the end and making into an area rug as opposed to selling it as broadloom. http://www.rugs-direct.com/menus/colors_1.asp?Style=78125&Color=123129
Anyone had any luck with this yet? Other tacky flourescent styles suitable for a gameroom are also on there if you search a bit.
