Convert a Pokerino. They are cheap, and suck as bad as the Leafs.
I was at the game tonite and can say that although MTL. is better than the Leafs, that gap is narrowing. Kiprusoff played a GREAT game but the Canadiens lack any spirit. The only guy really playing is Cammalleri( an ex-Flame of course)..the rest of the team is already on cruise control which is no big surprise for a team coached by Jacques Martin. Sorry Habs fans..the Flames are headed to another Cup final this year, and it definitely won't be against MTL. |

Well it looks like I am going to eat a piece of humble pie after last night's game. Flames are on fire right now and the habs have to work harder or they will be passed by the leafs, sigh.

Not a bad game by the Habs last night, many Flames fans in the Bell Center. Man, those Flames players are big and they didn’t leave #14 alone all night.
Great intensity by Cammalerri, our best player last night. At least we still have our #1 pick for next year draft. Same can’t be said for the Laffs. |

It's funny, as a fan of the Flames I (big enough to still rock my Flames jersey in Chicago 2 days after they dropped the 5-0 first period lead to the Blackhawks!) I still don't find the team is firing on all cylinders just yet. Early on secondary scoring was holding the team together, now it seems to be Kiprusoff. Lotta squeakers, but in a way I feel like they're only a bad bounce or two from crumbling. I guess what I'm sayin' is that if they're winning now and if Sutter can get their act together, look out!  Fingers crossed. Haven't won the cup since I was grade 6! |

If Sutter doesn't push them too hard and they don't run out of gas before the season ends, if you ask me, it is their year. I was amazed to see their penalty killing... the Habs couldn't even get out of their zone at some point. A truly efficient team with good leadership and solid on all points. |

Joey Mullen is still mine. After the '89 win Doug Gilmours Dad got a buddy and me down to the family area ( Flames fans are family right  . This GORGEOUS blonde told me how much she LOVED my jersey ( #7 Mullen)..then asked if I wanted her HUSBAND to sign it for me...suddenly I had even more respect for my favorite Flame. |
