I'd put my house on it this time..if you lost before you'd get it all back this time around. I'm just fed up with it.

House not required. G&R would suffice.

Are you getting the message yet?

Let me throw my two cents in by saying that Jim has flooded the market here with all his pins, and with so much being available it sure makes it tough for others to sell their pins and buy others. Never seen so much for sale on this Forum. With supply being so much, no wonder that prices are dropping. Good luck to all on your sales!!

Why can't he flood the market with the A list titles I still want?

I'd like to unsarcastically thank Jim for his hard work in bringing lots of games into the local area. People seem like they're complaining about him increasing the supply! Nonsense, more pins = more fun.

I own one of his machines (that he acquired from a local operator), and helped deliver a TZ to another member, and dealing with Jim has been a pleasure. I for one and greatly saddened that he has decided to throw in the towel, and hopes that at some time in the future he returns. Hanging out at his warehouse and chatting with fellow MAACA members was a lot of fun.

If I had more space/cash, I'd help take more of his pins off his hands. I look forward to picking up my Mars Trek though

Here here! I have bought 6 pins from Jim in the past and always was happy with what I bought, but most of all just chatting with Jim was always a pleasure (and still is).

If I can offer some advice Jim... slack off the massive buying/selling, but don't stop collecting for yourself. Just enjoy the hobby for yourself. Period. You will enjoy it MUCH more. And if there is an older early-SS pin that you have and want cleaned up, send it my way... I will clean it up for you. (cheap bribe to keep you on as a member!!!    )

Retiring soon...

I too have to thank Jim - I have bought 5 pins from him (and have been satisifed with all of them). Please don't quit entirely Jim!   I will miss your show-room visits. I agree with Sparky though - slow down a little (maybe only 3 - 4 pins a year) . One thing is for sure - You go whole Hog!

Perhaps all us Ottawa buyers should take Jim out for a beer one night. Maybe we could do a pin crawl   (might have to spend a fortune on taxis given the few areas to play).

Pins owned:
Bally - Twilight Zone (1993)
Williams - Star Trek The Next Generation (1993)
Bally - Scared Stiff (1996)
Stern - Lord of the Rings (2004)

If people in Toronto want these pins, I am going through TO this Saturday with a big rental truck.

As long as Jim & I can make arrangements to get the pins on the truck early Saturday morning - and you meet the truck at the Islington exit - Walmart - then you can get the pin delivered.   Asking $100 for delivery - but if there's a few - and the logistics are easy - I'll lower the price.

I'd be at the drop-off point sometime between 2 & 4.

I'm trying to facilitate a few members that want these pins - but don't want the hassle of delivery.

I honestly don't know the final destination yet - but have been told Cambridge area.   I'm trying to avoid this turning into a milk run - as its going to be a long day already.   If you could meet us @ the destination (Cambridge) that could work.
