My boy beats me ! He saw his first live concert at 10 years old and i saw mine at 12 . It was Ville Émard Blues Band in 1970 . After words , i saw Gentle Giant , Frank Zappa , Peter Gabriel , David Bowie , Yes , Pink Floyd , April Wine , Dire Straights , Talking Heads , U2 , Simple Minds , The tubes and i could go on and on . Maybe my kids will get the habit of running after tickets for live concerts like i did and i won ' t stop them from it .

This MTL youth band internationaly known sure is quite good . I bought tickets for the Simple Plan concert at le festival d ' été de Shawinigan to please the kids . It ' s not the BeatleMania , but there was some girls from New York and Chicago that slept in front of the main gate in order to be front stage . We got there at 1;30 PM not knowing when the gate would open . It opened at 6 PM and we were some 15 feet from the stage .

My wife and i had had as much fun as our kids did . Instead of using limewire to get some of their best songs , i ' ll go in a record store and buy a few albums to encourage our local talent . If they ever come your way , even it ' s a magority of young girls who are in love with one of the band members , it ' s a concert worth to be seen . I ' m including a few pics and a you tube link of their best song ...

hey glad you had a great time to the concert

Im going to see kiss (in montreal) + Paul mccartney Live at Citi field
this summer..
I just can't wait you cannot imagine

it's been 10 years since i missed the Kiss farewell tour in 2000...
and i have been listening to the beatles all my life it's gonna be a experience i will never forget

i never really loved the pop , punk simple plan band
maybe it's fun music to listen

but as a musician it's always hard to like those kinda bands , especially when you grew up with parents listening to the best musicians on earth THE BEATLES , claptop , pink floyd , back when the music was REAL and made from the heart & soul

but i shall now go & get one cd and listen to something new for a change!!!

thanks for the review!! and video!

I know what you mean . Your parents must be a few years older than i am , since i was more in the ELP , yes , rush , AC/DC era . But our kids are young , 10 and 12 years old and it was a treat for them . As i said i ' d be buying albums to encourage local talent and please the kids . It still was a great feeling to be in the crowd again , after many years and see these kids having a blast ...
