The lastest "find" was my buddy buying the Camaro off Canada's Worst Driver 5. It's the red one you see sometimes in previews but I don't think they aired the episodes of it yet where it gets tortured. They had a Vette but blew the motor. Ran out and paid a guy 6K for this thing. Did the brakes and made sure it was road worthy. They beat the hell out of it for two episodes and he grabbed it for $1300 at the end of the show.

He didn't even really want it, but the price was right. We were off to Michigan on the weekend. Two doors, rear bumper, a posi unit and he ordered two new replacement fenders. It's not my cup of tea 1992 (I believe) Camaro, but he's having fun fixing it for the wife.

I just want to rub it in when the episodes air on how badly his car gets tortured. Good entertainment value now that he owns the car now.

I had that experience this summer actually.
My Friend was looking for a classic car and he wanted model T camero or a charger.
Well he ended up picking up a Road runner in a barn in smith falls.
Almost no rust car was used for stock racing and was in there for 5 years.
He got it working 2 weeks ago changed the carb and she is functional.
Him and I have been hunting for parts for this thing not much luck but hell its fun.
Plus i love the sound of that car it got a nice sound.

Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.

It's been at least 32 years since my Dad sold out our blue 64 or 65 Chevy Nova SS to some young car punk despite my early teenaged protests to preserve it for "my" future.  He got it brand new only because our original car was totalled in a T bone collision that nearly took my young (as in months old) life.  I've never quite forgiven him (for selling my car).  How in the world he talked my mom into another 2 door when he later replaced that with a Chevy Nova Concours is beyond me... I didn't get to keep that one either but I did get to drive it into the ground practically (big car for such a skinny teenager) before my parents moved to Ontario.

There is definetly no shortage of car folks on this site. A good representation of big blocks as well which is a pleasant surprise. I've attached a pic of my main gem, it has a big block as well that has been cammed up to make little kids cry. The pics is applicable cause the garage was just finished and more importantly the 400 sq ft loft above (not shown) is the games room that I am now starting to work on. Will post up those pics as it moves from storage space to pinball (air hockey, etc etc) dwelling.

Great site, thanks.  It's always been my dream to restore a mid 70's/second generation Camaro (my neighbour had one growing up, and I always loved it).  One day!

A 1984 orange Skoda and

A 1985 beige Aro 244 truck...called the TANK...with a snow plow in front!
