I'd like to know if anyone here has ever bought from them before?  And were you satisfied?

I understand that apparently some people here have had issues with Alouette in the past,
around moving prices and quality of the work/machines.

However, for me it has been the complete opposite - although I only bought as-is machines.
...Bought over 25 machines from them in the last 20 years or so.
Very happy with the people there, machines and transactions.

I have nothing to gain from this post, just my opinion as a satisfied customer.

Good luck & Cheers,
- Sylvain

Best thing is that someone with experience goes with you. I have dealt with them a lot... they don't hassle me with price differences too much.

Thank you all for your advice.  My husband just concluded the deal on the Dirty Harry for $1,600.  The comments about the Dr Dude scared us a little.  Dirty Harry arrives Friday morning next to our new pool table!

Old news, but what was the final verdict ? Proven? Guilty or not ?
Did they really do it?
Curious as well, but I could not find the info/final conclusion anywhere...

They worked out a settlement with the government. No convictions nor records.

I can find out but......... Highly unlikely that they walked away from this scott free as in "NO record", if so I would have to consider changing careers and start moving contraband cigarettes and laundering money threw ATM's.

I think it is due to the hefty fee they paid. Don't forget... the government is full of lawyers too...
