WOW - I have no idea how bad of pinball players the previous owners of my LOTR were but the settings on this machine we so easy it was ridiculous. I did not realize how much changing the setting could make the game easier.
In any case, I destroyed the ring on my 3rd play! I decided to do a factory reset. Is there anything anyone would recommend changing on the settings to enhance gameplay? I don't need it to be easier but just anything else I should think about?

Install Director's Cut mode (or whatever it's called). It removes the annoying "Bash Balrog" mode, and adds a whole new section to the FOTR multiball. Not sure what else it does. |

Free Play!  Set Destroy Ring to 2 ball Turn Cave Troll Sequence On Rebuild Flippers! Clean and Wax Playfield and Balls! Set Pitch to at least the proper level (Bubble in between the lines on the level) Start there, then if it is still to easy, look at the settings... Dave |

Destroying the Ring is not a big deal. You only have to start each MB to light Destroy the Ring. There is alot more to the game than that.
That said, ensure the outlanes are open to max, and in the settings increase the setting for Two Tower MB. I think I have mine set to hard.
