Boris from Diner is basically Boris Yeltsin, so not original to pinball. And if it's from Monster Bash, then it too isn't original, Frankenstein isn't an original pin character |

The monster or creature was nameless in Mary Shelleys novel however, Hollywood may have unwittingly named the creature as "Frankenstein" through giving Boris Karloff credit or promotion as "Frankenstein" vice the monster or creature. So Karloff was often referred to as Frankenstein but Frankenstein, the doctor, was not named Boris, nor was the monster. |

Bobby is one of the announcers on I500.
It's Bobby Unser...and the other is Paul Page... I doubt this is the answer he's looking for. |

I know... Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi were not around when Mary Shelley wrote it... Besides, the monsters are based on the Hollywood versions... not the literary ones. And for the record... the monster's real name is unknown and the bride's is Elizabeth. |

Maybe they should have called him "Willy" since Karloff was born William Henry Pratt.
If Stiker refers to the dog in WCS94 then the whole line of questioning whether the characters were all pinball creations is in question. |

Ooops. I obviously didn't do my research thoroughly enough since the answers I was expecting don't fit my own set of rules. This is what I was hoping for:
Bandelero: Cactus Canyon (answered correctly) Bobby: Indianapolis500. I know almost nothing about the Indy league, but indeed if Bobby Unser is a real person and he is the one repesented on the game, then he doesn't really fit the category. Boris: Diner. Someone commented that this represents Boris Yeltsin, but I would dispute that since the game came out before he took power. Maria: Wheel of Fortune. Could probably also argue that Genesis works. I've never seen Metropolis, but there could easily be more than one answer to one of these puzzles. The criterion that I used was that the name had to be written somewhere on the playfield or display. Striker: World Cup Soccer. Curses, I didn't realize that Striker was a more-universal mascot, but obviously he doesn't belong in this list.
Sorry again for the confusion with the last few. I'll try to come up with another interesting list soon. Well, there it is. |

Technically it sounds like the one from Genisis fits better because Maria on WOF is a real person off the Stern assembly line |
