Don't think its the same... The sound board in the Secret Service is Part # 520 5002 01 What does your Tommy board part number say?
Internet database shows Tommy MPU as Dataeast Version 3 and my Secret Service as MPU version 2

Well, I had music playing but no voice.... tried getting some new roms and installed them and still no voice, just scratchy noise during voice playback. Checked resistors etc on sound board....checked capacitors as best I could.... still no voice. THought I might try changing out RAM chip and a few other things, but I thought I would throw out a line in case someone had a donor machine kicking around. I have a few broken plastics as well...and am missing the three ball trough switches which I am also looking for.
The other nite when testing switches and coils, resistor R75 burned out and a transistor in line with that resistor over CN11 on the mainboard also got toasted.....gotta try and figure out if there is a problem with a coil or something there.
ANd of course the displays, I checked the display board and it seems OK....all voltages OK I think from what I can see. Either the glass displays are toast on the numeric 2 displays, or soemthing else going on back on the mainboard.
Thanks John
