Hey all,

Seeing the Evil Dead pinball post has made me wonder about my own custom pin I have been working on for years. I have plans drawn up and everything, but for the sound it would be easy to have a programmable sound card...

... enter GSound:

http://www.pinballpal.com/gsound/

This is also apparently the same board that CPR will give with the Lost Vegas kit.

My question though... DOES IT EVEN EXIST?

That link to Pinball Pal's page is well over 5 years old. Nothing has changed. Last year I decided to stop waiting for it and head another COSTLY route, but I always wondered if it truly existed?

Anyone?

Hey Sparky,

I looked into it when i was considering doing a custom pinball.. either an army of darkness pin, or Hellboy... the Gsound would have been a good match for the Panthera pin i had.  I figured i could have done some cool stuff with a Gsound and a replacement logic board (custom rules)  it was around the same time i sent my TMNT to you....   that was a while back, and I gave up too.

I wish it would either appear or dissapear...   funny that they are talking about using CF cards, and say you could use a whole 32M!!!!!  i don't think i could even find a card under 512M anymore.

Pins:  TMNT (visiting Sparky)
Pinzilla (multipin project) (GOing to visit Terry!)

Vids:  going away... nothing but Mame is staying

The custom soundcard I used can go up to a 10 Gig with optional video trigger adaptor too.  $129 U.S for mp3 trigger, and Another $299 if you wanted video and light capabilities. Plus extra for Shaker motor transducer capability.  Check out most halloween props and special FX guys use this stuff all the time, and it can be easily converted to use in a pinball machine.  I got my stuff from http://www.frightprops.com/controllers-electronics/frightideas-controllers.html
