I would like to host for April, however April itself is real busy with Easter, exams for the wife and me having to fold all my games in prep for my move. that being said....is this weekend (27 MAR) too soon? If not, I can host "April's" meeting then.

Well it does seem rather short notice. What time did you have in mind? I can probably make it.
I was hoping to host in April myself but there are numerous repairs required and I'm still waiting on parts to arrive.
Is anyone else available to host April 17-18 or 24-25?

I can host in April, but I'd like to get my TZ flipper issue fixed by then. I also will be gone the weekend of 17-18. Also, people might be bored of my machines by now, it'll be the third meeting at my place with the same lineup.

Ok I just received the parts to fix two of my machines. I'll offer to host the afternoon of Saturday April 24th if that works for people, or could do Sunday the 25th instead. Hopefully there will be at least 4 machines competition-ready by then...

Sounds good. I'll host the finals in May or June (when people want them). If somebody just wants to play pinball this weekend or next, I can hold an informal " Sys 11 set-up" party. There are 15 games in the basement all set to go up on legs. Food and beer could even be provided .

I have a Williams Bad Cats. I have been seriously into pins for about 5 years now. I try and play daily, but with the limited number of pins around the city it is tough. I usually end up going to Vegas 5-6 times a year to go to the Pinball Hall Of Fame. I had no idea this board existed until last month.

Electronics experience will be very valuable if you purchase a solid-state pinball machine. Keep an eye on the forum classifieds, there's almost always something available in the Ottawa area; more if you're willing to travel as far as Montreal or Toronto.

As for my first pinball machine. I would like to go with something a little simpler to start out with. 2-4 player, digital displays. Was hoping to get something playable with the potential to learn while I repair/upgrade it. Was planning on spending $750ish. That reasonable?
