Theirs a guy getting rid of a 4 slot MVS cab in mint condition in Huntsville(Ontario) and he's pretty much giving it away. The only problem is shipping of course, wondering if anybody here has any suggestions. He can't get it to Toronto so M~O is out of the question along with forward Air. Anybody know a Carrier that won't break the bank.

Thanks

Silly question time...

With the Neo 150-in-1 cart, why would you want a beastly 4-slot cab? Those things are HUGE and with the multi-cart, you could play NG games to your heart's content in a muuuuch smaller package.

I understand the whole purist standpoint, but man those cabs are HUUUUUUGE.

Cause he's giving it away. If I can find a Carrier that will do it for let's say around 400-500 than thats well worth to me. MVS's are large and in charge

I believe you can set-up the MVS-4 with the multi-cart as well as using 3 other standard cartridges.

Revived, any one know a decent third party company that insures cabs/pins for delivery. @ 0.50$ a pound the MVS will cost a pretty penny to insure if I use Fed Ex. Thx

Why insure it if it's free?

Insurance covers the cost of loss or damage, if they damage or lose the thing on the way to you, you shouldn't be paying anything for the cost of shipping.

Really if that's the case then why would they even offer insurance? Sorry for the newbie question usually I get the seller to handle shipping.

Well cause they don't know what your paying.

I haven't personally lost anything so I'd check with the shipper, but I know regardless of insurance or not, I'm paying them to provide me with a service to get me something from one location to another and in one piece.  If it didn't make it to me or was destroyed along the way I won't be paying them for their service.

Ah thanks, just got off the phone with both ups & fed Ex. The person whom I talk to last @ Fed Ex said that they could ship it no problem. Now both companies have just let me know that the can't freight any antics from residence to residence. So I guess does anybody know a moving company that offers services within Canada. I'm never organizing another shipment after this one that's for sure.

http://www.sameday.ca will do residence to residence. Probably cost you somewhere around $200 + $45 for lift gate service at each end. Plus tax.

But the machine has to be strapped to a skid and wrapped in cardboard or I doubt Sameday would touch it.

You know what you could do is just have him gut the cab and ship you the parts, and find an empty MVS cab locally
