A friend asked me to look at her Firepower but I'm an EM guy and I have no experience with SS games yet. PM me if you can help.
Thanks,
Scott

Sorta near....  I'm kind of on a hiatus (read: taxes to do and about 4 projects int he hopper and 6 calls to return...)  Firepower is a straightforward machine to work on though....

...I'm thinking about changing my "modus operandi" for a bit.  i.e. I find on site repairs too stressful.  If it's an easier fix you come out looking like a hero, if it needs parts and I don't have a spare board, well, you look like a dweeb.  So I am thinking about changing to the "drop it off and I'll call you when it's done" style of repairs for a while....

I thought I'd take a stab at it if no one is available. I'm of the same feeling ... take it away and work on it with no one looking over my shoulder. I have a background in 8 bit microprocessors (Z80) but I have yet to tackle an SS pin. Maybe I can use Clay's System 6 guide. Got to start somewhere. What do you SS and EM repair guys charge for a repair?

Regards,
Scott
