There is an AP on Mr Pinball that the owner claims the machine has 39 plays on it does this make any sense ? Is it possible to disconnect or rollback the counter ? I'm not interested in this particular machine but I see this type of ad every once in awhile and it just seems unlikely to me?

opinions ?

Not sure what AP is.
But if electronic you can remove batteries will reset it.
IF a counter can always installe a new one.

AP = Austin Powers

Re setting the counter is as simple as changing the batteries with the power off.  Also updating the software to a new version will also wipe out any audits.  Same thing with errors, it someone says it's error free, could just mean that they just pulled the batteries and haven't played the requisite 30 games for the error to pop up again.

In other words, you can't trust the machine audits. You'll have to either trust the seller, or be provided with some other form of evidence.

For me, a MINT game is a MINT game.. it doesnt matter if you played a million games or just 10, if the game looks like new out of the box, its MINT either ways.

Anyway, if you played 10 000 games on it, it will show. So if a game looks brand new to you, then chances that it didnt got played much are high. At the end of the day, condition is whats important, HUO or RUO, who cares (not me).
