Yes everbody it's the new game that's sweeping the nation! It's time to GUESS-THAT-AUCTION-PRICETM.
How is the game played you ask? Well it's really quite simple. It begins with someone picking an Epay auction for the group to review. Each member then tries to guess it's final selling price. If the item does not sell then the guess closest to the last bid wins.
The rules of guessing 1) The Price is right rule: Closest guess, (without going over) wins. 2) The polite Canadian rule: You only get one guess. 3) The Don't be a Dumb-a** rule: You cannot pick the same price as someone else... I mean heck, what would be the fun in that... There can be only one! 3a) The Dumb-a** deserves what he gets rule: If for some strange reason you do pick the same price as someone else, then tough, your out of the game till the next round. Also, the other contestants are allowed to ridicule you without retaliation cause you're a Dumb-a** and you deserve it! 4) The We're a cool place to live but our dollar sucks rule: All guesses are to be made in USD. 5) The Don't try to be a sneak rule: All guesses must be made prior to the final hour of the action... Failure to meet this deadline will also bring ridicule from your fellow members as stated in rule 3a.
What the lucky Winner gets: 1) Fame: Bragging rights and the luxury of taunting the losers till the completion of the next auction. 2) Fortune: Well not actual money but my undying admiration... Which is really worth more if you think about it cause...err...um... Hey, whadda ya want for nuthin', a rubber biscuit? 3) Glory: The Honour of picking the next auction.
