Hold a titch here..... you joined as TGlover in April '08, posted as TGlover all spring/summer/fall and then in November '08 you joined MAACA again as Inyourface because you were suddenly worried about people knowing your real name?  That story smells funny, I must say.  As well, you posted an Embryon as TGlover, and then REPLIED TO YOURSELF as Inyourface?  The real question here is whether TGlover responded to Inyourface's PM..... cause that's a bit weird, if you know what I mean.  "Hi Me, it's Me.  Have you sold our pin yet?"  "Nope, but thanks for asking me, Me."

I'm all for a guy enjoying the hobby and not losing money, but I think the problem is that you've posted too often like this is Kijiji or craigslist, stuff like that irks people beyond belief.  You offer way lowball prices on stuff for sale, and often ask way above market prices for your own stuff, and then get offended when others get pissed off.  

I hope you sell your Batman Forever, in whatever forum that may be, and I also hope you get your GNR.  I've played BForever at Ancientgames' place, and it is indeed a very fun pin, I would recommend it.

I can only speak for myself, but I know Sparky can back it up...  I only use this alias when posting here. (Same rules apply for ANY forum I post on.  That's just how I roll.)

As for the 'stones' we're throwing, I never once personally attacked you.  I just disagree with your tactics and potentially your character.  I'm not one to normally speak up unless something really gets under my skin, and it's very rare that I have an issue with anyone.  (check my history here @ maaca, few and far between)  I choose to associate myself with people that have similar views, and wouldn't you know it?  Most if not all of the those people have the same issues with your tactics.  I guess it's just MY turn to speak my mind about it here.

I think the forum is fine just the way it is, we police ourselves and the mods step in when we all lose control (which isn't very often).  I really enjoy helping / conversing with 99% of the members here, not to mention I've forged a great number of friendships via maaca.  I always look forward to meeting up with as many as I can whenever the opportunity arises.  If our paths happen to cross one day, I would have no problem introducing myself although I doubt we'd have a whole lot to talk about... (see my comment about similar views)

Regarding your posts, specifically your FS posts...  If you are going to post any more games FS, just post the facts without all the used car salesmanship.  Post pics as others have mentioned (not to mention the rules of the classified section) along with your price and let the facts do the talking.

I am not saying I am a saint - far from it (being athiest and all), and perhaps I do need a tounge lashing now and then, but all I was trying to do was offer a PIN (yes caps) to my fellow members before I offered it to another form (i.e first refusal sort of thing).  After being in this group for a while now, I have come to realize that MANY here are GREAT people.  Some, not so much.  If you notice my recent posts they have become much tamer and toned down, more supportive even - trying to assist the hobby where possible.  As anyone in this hobby knows, the enjoyment comes from restoring PINS / VIDS back to their original or better condition.... this cost money, and I'm sure everyone on this board has paid out more then they have ever gotten in.  That's how it works... you pay for the enjoyment it brings you.  As such, I very rarely make a profit on anything I sell - just like everyone else.  My prices may start out high, but I always drop them and if you knew what some of these machines actually sold for - you'd shake your head and ask why?  I just try to recoute as best I can the $ I put into these things.

So far the record, as of this point I am turning a new leaf. To be less sensative, to be less chatty, less aggressive, less forward, and a littlebit less giving too.  I know some of you will always have issues with me - that's life... others, hope you can understand where I'm coming from and offer me a second chance.

This is my last post on this subject. we've all wasted too much time on it already.

I totally agree with that statement.  I also enjoy the friendships I've made along the way.

    the not so much ones you created yourself.  you have had quite a few members go sour on you.  you always blame them and most are mild manner folk (not me, i will say it behind your back and straight to your or anyones face).   but most members already know you for all this.   so thats all i am saying on all that.
  you know if you didn't do the crap and then insult me as you did, you would have had one heck of a buyer on your hands.   batman, addams family and so many others i would buy.  i am not like most other members.  oh i love to play my pinball.  but i don't really do the repair thing.  i get others to do the hard stuff and i do what i can.  but what really like is buying them.  just like others who like fixing them up get their kicks so do i when i have to run out to see if the machine will still be there when i get there due to snipers or buying off a member who lives far away and i get to travel.  i get my kicks from travelling and getting to travel with pinball machines is fun.  i use to travel alot in my pre-eve days.
  so i hope you do change your ways alittle.  you don't have to be a new person.  just a real person.

I just gotta point out,

I dig around a LOT of forums, lots of music gear forums, a few game forums.....

Music gear forums are pretty similar, and i have bought sold stuff WAY more expensive than videos and pins through them, and to be honest, lack of pics is usually something everyone comments and makes fun of, especially on stuff in the higher end of the market scale.  also Ball busting is pretty much common. just like it is in real life in most hobbies.  a whole team of us were busting Gerald's nuts over a few things this weekend, and that was AFTER he did all the work getting the bulk buy together!!!  you mention being less sensetive, and that is definitely something to strive for.  I am still pretty new to Maaca, but have been more active on cgcc, where a lot of us also post, and bust each others nuts on a regular basis.  It's part of most "guy" cultures.

As to multiple accounts thats a nono.  beyond whether it is a banning offense (like is is on many other boards) with zero tolerance, or just heavily frowned upon, its not cool.  Say whatcha gotta say, be yourself and take/give lumps as required.
