On behalf of Denis (impaired by bad seeing eyes these days, Get well buddy!) I'd like to announce that the fleamarket will be held this Saturday, May 7th. (starting at 6:00 AM).
You can bring your machine for this event, you'll never know! Maybe it will get sell...
Welcome to all MAACA members.
Please put you name, and a small inventory description of machine and parts to be sold,  down on this thread. This will give Denis an estimate of how many people will attend.

Thanks to all!
Denis

I will be there...

Sega Turbo cabaret complete boardset + manual

Williams System 6 pinball board set, near mint.

Other pinball used boards

2 Alien Poker populated rough playfields with a few missing parts

Williams early 80's coin doors and other misc. parts from 2 Alien Pokers...

A few pinball manuals if anybody needs one...

And I will listen to any DECENT offers I get (please don't bother me with 5$ offers...), whether it be trades or cash for my following machines:

BSD pinball, extremely clean, totally shopped out, works awesome

Sinistar Duramold project (is a Blaster cab)... cab a little rough but complete, have all boards, new repro bezel, 2 optical joysticks, used power supply and monitor. Needs cleaning up, some rewiring, a marquee and a CPO. I may bring the cab...

Discs of Tron project... was working a couple of months ago... cabinet graphics very nice, monitor has minor burn-in, power supply rebuilt, have 3 board sets in all, 2 sets I wanted to use for parts. Speech works!!! (rare!) Cab is a little rough on the coin door and the floor of the machine (aren't they all...) I can't bring it because it's HUGE!!!! Needs to have the wiring gone over.

I might have a bit more stuff, but off hand I can't think of any others...

I will try to bring as much as I can, but you can ask me directly and I will see what I can do...

Ian

Hey all!

Man, it was a BEAUTIFUL day for a sale!!! But before I go any further in this post, I want to give a HUGE thanks to Denis and all of the Amusement 911 crew... They are all truly amazing people!!! Denis was there even though having injured his eyes in a welding accident (he's OK!!!), and really went out of his way to make me feel welcome and made it a true pleasure to spend some time there... Denis, vous êtes tous des ''tops'' dans mon livre!!!  I owe you big time!!!

I basically set up a little area around my truck with a few parts, and actually sold quite more than I expected! ...OK..OK... some of it was to fellow group members that came, like Azatotht, who brought his cute son and his father-in-law with him... and he bought a cool and very nice game (forgot the title... but was REALLY clean...).

Splitskull and Mrs.Splitskull came to say hi (love ya guys!!!), and I had the pleasure of meeting Newf112 and his buddy Steve, who were looking for some rotating joysticks, and ended up leaving with a Time Soldiers in a Juno First cab (which looked sah-weet!). They also bought an MAACA t-shirt and some Ms.Pac CPOs I had. It was truly a pleasure to meet you guys!!!

I also want to give a big thanks to a guy who isn't registered in the group due to lack of internet, but who follows us closely... Thanks Pascal! ...And I will take a look at that pin soon for you!!!

So, at the end of it all, we had some fun, made some new friends, and made some spare change in the process... all in all a good day! Turn out was a little less than we expected, but that's OK...

And again, I want to thank Denis for putting all of this together... Even with his eyes hurting, he worked his a** off to make everything great for everybody... and that, people, is a guy who has class! And if you couldn't make it today, give Denis a call, he will surely help you out anyway he can!

A happy and sunburned Sparky!!!

PS: here is a pick of a mere sample of what Denis had outside, and another pics showing off Newf112 and his new toy!!!

I had to go twice ! Went first with my son and father in law as Sparky said, but ended out buying a cab... Its an Atari cab converted into an Aero Fighter ... i dont know what was the original game but the decals are really nice.

Also bought a populated Alien Pker playfield and a glass from Sparky... stole should be the correct word, thx man.

Heres a pic of the MAACA stand !!! Splitskull on left, father in law in the middle moving my newly aquired cab and Sparky on the right...

Sorry the machines are aligned into tight rows, was hard to get good pictures... but to a trained eye, those cabs shouldnt be too hard to identify. Theres a lot of converted games in there too.

Thanks for the pictures Azatotht. I always like seeing what went on with a few pics. Wish I could have made it today, but just didn't have time.

His place in St-Janvier sure is brighter and more open than his old shop off of Boul St-Martin. The old place had machines piled everywhere. You could barely move in there.

I would have loved to have come by on saturday but sadly I worked until 2:30pm......again

Denis is a great guy. I have dealt with him on several occassions and had nothing but excellent words to say about him. He went out of his way once to find a replacement monitor for my centipede, few people would have gone through that much trouble just for one small sale

Maybe next time

...You didn't take a pic of the older ones there... Denis has 2 pong-clones... a TV-Ping-Pong 2-player game by Amutronics, and a VERY NICE and fully working 1973 4-player Williams Pro Tennis... I know, I know... not exactly awesome classics, but I have been looking at that Pro Tennis for a while and it would make an interesting addition to any gameroom. It even has a 25" screen!!! ...Black and White Zenith 25" TV! How retro-cool is that!!!

...I wonder if he even has any of those dart games left... those were awesome too, and a bargain at 250$... Too bad I am on a really tight budget...

I'd like to say thanks to Denis for his expert advice. Was gone pick-up a 19 inches cab for a Mame project (altought I'm having a hard time cutting any wires yet...) but he highly recommend the 25 inches for a lot of reasons...He was right all the way! I went home with my new toy: a Neo-Geo System cab. Man I'm having tons of fun just by looking at the way this cab was built. It's a beauty!

Thanks Denis and remember that you owe one to my wife as well (for her final O.K. on buying this cab instead...).

I was also glad to meet you Sparky, and all the rest of the guy's.

Darn! Forgot to buy that T-Shirt...
