I hope that the new Walking Dead series is a huge success. There really needs to be a zombie pin made at some point.

I think it'll be Avatar as they were already working on it before with Steve, and the movie was a smash hit...
Or possibly the same layout with a different theme? Steve Ritchie seemed to have the best track record of the Stern designers with Spiderman, 24 and Elvis (and WPT and T3).
Is it an atom? No, it's multiball! Complete MAACA-Wacko!

I was hoping for a cheeses of the world pin!
I will take one aged 2 years in box. In fact, the cheese tray we servrd last time I hosted TOPL was a sampling of the new Stern model.
Seriously, my bet is on either a very popular TV show (not sure what) or a movie with at least on sequel released or in production. So, Avatar looks pretty strong to me. Tron is a bigger gamble IMHO. The licenbse might cost less but the move could easily turn out to be a royal flop. And a remake 20 years later isnt really a sequel due to popular demand.

After WOF, 24 and CSI being produced in so-so numbers, I doubt they will go that route again.
Stern is having fun keeping things hush-hush, even on their own site. RGP's info is sketchy as well. We all saw Steve Ritchie'S Avatar plans, but no one has ever seen any hardware yet. Same for Gomez's Tron pin. The only info out there is a cryptic and vague quote from Gomez, and a few fuzzy pics of drawings.
My question is this... is there truly another pin coming?

Of course there is. They're even hiring! (Not necessarily for the new pin, but dead companies usually don't hire people)

I know, since times are tough and everyone's tightening their belts, Stern will realease a combo themed Pin based on the Smurfs with large blue Avatar characters with wearing smurf hats, casting spells, fighting demons, all while driving lightbikes at rediculous speeds going in straight lines turning at 90 degree angles with Frank Oz and Jim Henson muppet voice samples. There you have it.

A Hockey pin would be great, I can already think up a number of neat features you could have with that. But, if an NBA pin didnt fly in the good ole USA, dont expect anyone to care about a hockey or NHL pin, doesnt matter what team or who it is.

They can make a hockey pin but I wish it could have a blue light following the pinball around like Fox Network used to have following the puck around. That cool blue flame! Then I could actually follow a game - pinball OR hockey!

I thought they tried that with Viper Night Driving and the glow in the dark ball?
So we know that it is Avatar next (yippee...), so what's next? Has anyone heard or read anything?
Tron?
A Marvel character-based pin again? Thor is set to be released on May 6th, Captain America after that in July...
Another run of an existing pin?
Gawd, I hope it's not going to be Thor. Bleh. Like the zombie idea for sure, maybe not a Resident Evil though, the only two Mila games I'd ever get would be the Fifth Element or Dazed and Confused, lol. Having said that, I hate Harry Potter stuff, but that would be ripe for adaption as would Tron, but is Disney really in the pinball market? If so, then Pixar should get behind a Toy Story pin, that would rock.
In Collection: Tales from the Crypt, Elvira & the Party Monsters and Monster Bash

Remember that Stern only does movie themes for titles that have at least 1 sequel. Avatar is the exception aside from the fact that it is a blockbuster and there is a sequel being made.
