So after Bettman let Canada down by not allowing another team in Canada (Hamilton), he is now working with the Quebec City mayor to discuss the possibility of the return of the Nordiques! I remember watching a game against the Bruins and loved the feel of the Colisee, everything was so close to the ice.

I know this has nothing to do with pinballs, but I could not resist. Now we need to bring back the Jets!

Well, if you had a team back in Quebec city you wouldnt get to enjoy the close feel of the old arena. It only holds 14000+ for hockey which is too small for todays attendance standards and revenue earnings. There has been much discussion if they could get a new 19,000 or 20,000 seat arena they may have a shot...of course, it would have to be pretty much sold out to make it happen.

Don't hold your breath... Bettman's reasoning is IF YOU BUILD IT (arena), WE WILL COME. So someone has to fork out 300+million clams to build one. No investors for an arena in sight (only investors for a team) and with the government almost bankrupt... not gonna happen.

Take it from a guy that still has his Nordiques jersey in his closet...

@Sparky Nothing change when the nordique was there, the shirt was already in the closet . Without joke our beautifull Capital deserve a team and i wish to see again the fleurdelisé soon!!!! By the when mayor Labaume meet call me Gary, he was with Marcel Aubut and this guy dont move for fun... so maybe that's the beginning of something.
