You're lucky actually I was bargaining directly with Jim for it but we failed to get a deal together before a bid was registered.

If you tire of it, let me know. I figured that it would be a "crowd" pleaser rather than a mainstream collector's pin.  It plays well on vpinMame also.

Cheers and "Play Ball!"

That's odd..  It was a 7 day auction and I only bid 6 hours before the end.  I waited as late as I could just in case some other MAACA member would bid.

I've already had an inquiry about it from a guy in Chicago...  It's not for sale for the moment but I'll keep you in mind.  My TZ and Funhouse are tho

It's not your fault, you got it fair and square.  I was negotiating with Jim in the last day, so it was cutting it too close and I would suppose your bid was put in and that's why we didn't complete our negotiation (only Jim knows for sure - maybe my 2nd offer was too low).  I made two classic mistakes: 1) I forgot to make a bid of some sort on the item just to ear-mark it (even though I too was watching it for days) - it's classic to allow items to go unbid until the 11th hour only to have the auctioneer yank it from eBay because they're afraid they didn't set the minimum bid high enough, but I did that because I figured that I was going to reach a deal with Jim because we were talking and didn't want to "shake the bushes", and 2) I forgot to pay attention to the auction and change my snipe to my maximum.

In any case you got it for more than my last offer to Jim for the Silver Slugger alone (I offered for both Alien Poker and Silver Slugger), and Jim made more than my first offer on both I believe, so at least that seems fair.

Sorry, too much information I know.  Now that was cathartic and I can move on. You know what they say, if it was meant to be.  Perhaps there's a SG or a TOM or a TOTAN waiting in the wings with my name on it.
