NEVER use latex paint. That stuff is good for walls and little else.

I use Zinsser stain-cover primer along with a good oil-based paint. NEVER had a problem.

Well i have uploaded my latest pics to a photo sharing website. they are a bit small, but will try to upload better pics later.
The Cabinet and back box has been painted inside and out. All metal parts have been painted with Tremclad's hammer tone gun Metal Grey and the playfield has been touched up with 6 coats of clear.
All of my whites turned yellow due to the tint of the clear. Another painful lesson learned.

Awesome restore, i had a quick question i was wondering if pinbot is a widebody pin? Im looking at an empty case, but wondering on the size.
more importantly do you know the width of the cab? any chance someone out there with a pinbot has a measurement.

Pinbot is a standard cabinet size same as all other williams cabs from the 80's possibly till the Pin 2000 line up.

The backbox is a slightly different size as i have 2 of them and my F14 Tomcat, which was made one year later in 87 is a bit smaller.
