Thanks. Nah, I used mirror clips on the playfield, cut a groove along the top and bottom as they weren't wide enough (metal clips). It's solid, I can't even move the sucker a little bit! The blue gum is just used for the marquees.
There is one spot where I could put another pin, and if I were to move the exercise machine, one other one there. But this thing called "budget" gets in the way. In saying that, I think there's an excellent chance sometime in 2009 I'll be able to add a cheap working EM, even if the quality leads to be desired as long as it's in a playable shape (and has to have flippers... and out/in lanes... and just a couple of hundred bucks... and... ).
Own Magic, Star Gazer, Batman Forever, STTNG, Mystery Castle (project)

Hmmmm, a couple of the Marquees aren't staying up on the wall. I rolled the blugum in little balls, I have 5, one in the middle and 4 on each corner. Didn't put enough blue gum?

That blue gum you are using is at best a temporary adhesive, I wouldn't trust it over the long term as they will eventually fall down as you've already experienced. I have hung a backglass with mirror clips in the past with no problems, although I modified the mirror clips to have a tighter fit (cut and glued some clear plastic pieces to the clip to hold the glass snugger,so to speak). I suppose you could do this with the marquees as well.
I am going to hang a bunch of marquees in my gameroom as well, but the blue glue is out of the question for me since they will be mounted on the main support beam next to the ceiling and since the floor is thin ceramic tile over a cement floor....well I'm sure you get the picture.
Home Depot or Revy probably has some kind of clip that will allow you to mount them permantly without risking future damage to the marquee.
Yeah, reviving the thread to say "they're all comin' down". That's 4 now, so I'll have to look at a more permanent solution. Blue gum is cool, but unless there's a certain technique to using it, doesn't do the job.

Mix it up with Crazy glue.
Seriously, What I do is I press real hard on the blue gum, even if it's only a poster, makes a big difference on the grip. Also there are different qualities of blue gum, maybe you've got a lesser quality.
