Ok where do I start?
Last Tuesday I ordered some stuff. Found shipping was out of this world and called and they adjusted shipping, so it was at least manageable. Asked them to send me out a PayPal notification. Found out I forgot something and called then back on Wednesday to add it to my order(Had not been emailed the notification yet). FedEx shipping was only 10 bucks more so I put a rush on shipping, and asked them to send me out the PayPal notification. Waited all day Wednesday and most of Thursday. Called them back Thursday and gave them my Credit Card info. Marco informed me they were sold out on some items but I could order the more expensive Clear ones(Cabinet protectors). I modified my order and we were good to go. Marco left a voice mail late Friday stating that the remaining Cabinet protectors were also sold out. they were closed over the weekend so I called them this morning. Got this lady that was polite but not really cooperative. I took off all the dreaded cabinet protectors and I also informed her that I didn't need the leg levels (since I got a few sets from Dave). They didn't have a problem removing the cabinet protectors since their inventory system sucks but wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee on the leg levels, because they were 'PICKED' and it would cost money to put them back on the shelf. I told her after this transaction to delete my account since I wouldn't be ordering from them again. I just couldn't believe the snootiness. I understand the companies are in business to make money, but come on the package hadn't even shipped. What a cluster.
Anyone else with issues with Marco?

Get ready to bend over when FedEx delivers the package. You'll be looking at brokerage fees and probably taxes too.
I've never had a problem with Marco except that their prices on some things are insane. I ship to a US address so their shipping charges don't matter to me. |

When I started in this hobby I was going to order from them and decided to drop it because of the shipping charges. I don't want to deal with flat rate no matter what and if I have to call them to lower the shipping cost then I still don't want to deal with a company like that.
I was made aware that they were expensive but you are the first to give that kind of feedback. Obviously, you are just a number in their eyes and I won't even consider buying from them.
tks for sharing and good luck on getting the rest hopefully everything will work out. |

I only shop at Marco if there's no other options. And yeah, I think they suck.

Best thing is to do a bulk buy and go get it in Allentown. It's what I do. works great with Steve at the Pinball Resource. But yeah... Marco isn't the most user-friendly. |

They have been good to me for themost part, a hiccup here or there, and yes, their shipping can be horrendous.
And fedex WILL buttrape you, and sometimes they like to not even mention it at the door, then send you an overdue bill in 6 months (happened to me a few times doing guitar purchases/trades over the border)
Ups isn't much better, but at least they call me and say they are on the way and need $XX.XX in brokerage/customs fees. |

It's often worth having the "air" version of either Fedex or UPS as although it appears more expensive on the outset, it often includes brokerage fees and ends up being a bit cheaper. |

I just received a $700 order from Marco and had it shipped FedEx. No problem whatsoever, no brokerage fees or taxes. SWEET! I have dealt with them on 3 different occasions and have never had any problems. |

Marco is of the devil. Just like playin' cards, dice, and slow dancing, they belong in hell. |

Next thing you know they will be consuming libations and spreading the tainted word of the English.
Me, I only deal with good ol' homespun Amish folk. Ma' just knitted me a new slingshot plastic or two.
Yep...
Once new a girl whose breasts were on her back. No comment regarding her and slow dancing. |

I was stuck I needed a TZ clock hand and all I could find that sold them was Marco. I ordered more stuff to make it worth the shipping. I like to buy within Canada but sometimes you have to dance with the devil.
