Best not to come to Allentown then. Otherwise you might be tempted/coerced
On a serious note. re: getting a 2nd game. I think this is largely the reason why most collectors (if they can accommodate) grow the collection. No matter how good a pin is. At some point it starts to get boring/repetitive. Having another pin 'freshens' up the experience because they seldom play alike. At some point that may get old too depending on your personality/habbits. Some people rotate titles at that point, or add another to the collection.
When/if you get to that point ... be careful if you consider a project .. as that is whole new ball of wax. If your Girlfriend thinks they take up space now; wait until its disassembled.
Johnny, my friend, let me tell ya - you are not alone. Bought my first pin in February 2007. Have now bought a total of five with three3 in the current lineup. The feeling is much as you described. It is better (great) when you have a choice of pins to play or polish. Sometimes I just power them up and stare at the pretty lights. Notice I didn't say turn them on as I now own a Scared Stiff and some of you guys might try and play on that.
Does your fiancee know about this developing obsession? She won't try and change you I hope!?!
Enjoy the Shadow - it is a nice pin. Glad to see you took the second plunge.
Pins owned: Bally - Twilight Zone (1993) Williams - Star Trek The Next Generation (1993) Bally - Scared Stiff (1996) Stern - Lord of the Rings (2004)

Oh, she knows. It's one reason I went with the shadow. She was a big fan of the movie when she was a kid, she loves all the quotes.

I might have missed something with the Shadow movie, it's a great pin, but I thought the movie sucked ( at the time ). I may have to go and "try" and watch that flick again. I think I secretly hate all Baldwin brothers except for the bleeding, naked, crack smoker... I actually laughed out loud when he got arrested years ago....
Congrats on the pins! I was going to get 4 pins a few years ago, then 6 then 8..... it's getting crazier ( I think I've bought and sold 12 total ). That new wife of yours will soon figure you out...muhahahaha.

It's been YEARS since I've seen the movie, and like what The Shadow does to men's minds, my memories are a bit cloudy. To enjoy the movie you need to be a fan of super-hero movies that have a bit of camp. Also, notice the similarities to the Shadow's origin in the 94 movie with the origin of Batman in Batman Begins. (The hero travels around the world to find himself, becomes a criminal, gets trained by a mysterious asian dude, returns home and fights crime). Actually the structure of the whole film in Batman Begins is very similar to The Shadow. Also, I heard that there's supposed to be a new Shadow movie to be released in 2010. Hopefully that'll increase the value of the pin.
Oh, and apparently, I own 2 of the machines on the ipdb.org top ten list! I guess I have good taste?

Comments from pins only are strangely absent regarding the merits of more than one pin on this thread.
Did he finally get booked into rehab?
Hey, They give me access to a Computer once in a while!
I had one Pin for about 10 years! then I bought another, then about 2 years after that (The timeline goes kind of foggy in here!) I bought 3, one was an Indiana Jones that arrived with much the same problems as Sinpin's and the seller told me he sent the wrong game. I sold that and he was shipping the proper one so I decided to add to the shipment. And so on and so on... Well, Now I only Buy Pins in Breeding Pairs!! That way, I always keep an even number and I always hope for a large litter!
By the way, to get back to the original subject of one or two pins, I couldn't possibly have only one Pin, or even two for that matter. There is something very cool about almost every game I have had, and I have had a LOT! Some are just Fun, others are extremely tough and the odd one seems to have no reason to exist If your better half ever complains, drop me a line and I will send you some Pics so you won't look so bad/ridiculous.
Dave (More Pins than I am Old, and I am not 8!)
Here are games I would like to acquire this year, or sometime...
