Ok I think I'm 95% done with this one--replaced 20 of the colored decals and 10 transparent decals and got them all adhered--play tests so far show them standing up to abuse but who can say long term.  Field has been novus'ed and waxed  and new balls add--Backglass has been triple thicked to prevent any more flaking.  Of couse all new rubbers and a buttload of new bulbs went in as well.  For being a little shy of toys etc on the playfield its actually fairly fun--even has a 2 ball multi-ball feature.  One quirk is that if you lock a ball it stays locked even after the game is over.  Its not a big deal--just find it odd that the programming isn't in there to clean all the locked balls when the game is over...

Where on line did you get those self-adhesive transparencies?? I have a little project I want to try.

Dave

Quoted from MrMikeman
You can buy self-adhesive transparencies..  I have some which I use to make my own plastics...  You should print on that then cover it with mylar then trim..  As far as the drop targets go the packing tape idea is cool but you may find it's a bit thin and gets damaged easily.  It may tear at the surface and then you'll get adhesive gunk on the ball..  Only time will tell on that one.

Mike

I bought some at Office Depot. Made by Avery, 03276 Clear Decals, Ink Jet. 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, but only 6 in a pack. Very expensive too (was like $18-20), but worth it if you need that sort of thing

Old thread revival time...

Someone on RGP was asking about Af-Tor and it reminded me of this thread. Whatever happened to this game? Do you still have it?

Here's the RGP thread:
