I try to find the prototype hall effect joystick for Atari I'Robot, it was better then the production one.
I want to know if those one are a regular microswitch joystick used in Atari Gauntlet.
The seller believe those are a hall effect joysticks but i have the impression to see microswitch on them.
Someone have a Gauntlet ( Elio   ) ?
Thanks

HAL-9000, those are not Hall Effect joysticks.  The seller is wrong saying that in his auction.  The ones in his auction are indeed 'leaf switch' original joysticks used in Atari Gauntlet type of game.
Hall Effect joysticks have a opto type wheel at the bottom that reads the current position of the joystick shaft.  They were also used in Road Runner and Escape from the Planet of Robot Monsters.

Good luck in your search (as it is harder and expensive to find original Atari Hall Effect joysticks these days).

Yes, those are definitely *not* hall effect joysticks. A hall effect stick will have a circuit board on the bottom with a couple of adjustment screws poking out of the sides.
