I always thought it was super fun, and would be a neat addition to a games room, something different that would grab people's attention, and see who the "Macho" guys are who would be willing to do it

My wife actually suggested for our next house we look for something with more property so we could build an out building games room, somewhere around 20x30 or 30x40, with a loft area for a guest room, i couldn't believe she suggested it, but she likes playing the games sometimes, and appreciates my hobby, i could be doing a lot worse things with my money.

I don't have enough land, but I can build a loft. Problem is that it would not add any value to my house, as it is already the biggest one on my street...

I sell pre-engineered steel buildings, and a lot of my customers have nice size insulated out buildings on their properties that would be absolutely ideal for a pinball shop. On the up side, they are easy to build by laymen and totally maintenance free longterm. The downside is that unless you build your own front, they are quickly rejected my many wives!

Holy cow... I have been seeing the ads for Future Steel buildings in a local paper for years, and I have always wondered if that would be accepted in my area. If so, and if I had land to accomodate it, it would be a no-brainer. That would be perfect... Insulate the interior once assembled, build a few walls and you are done. My wife even suggested we get that if ever we get another house with lots of land.

My neighbour has one of those, exact ones, finished it off in barnboard and a porch with slanted roof, a half story for storage - everything but water (damned Hamilton) - for her pottery business. We hang out in it and drink beer when the kids are playing outside.
A workshop would be my dream, followed closely by one of these:
or one of these:
1963, world's first coin pusher (and I played one at the seaside):
My child's eye remembers it as a wonderous gobbler of large English pennies, a painted falls backdrop and several levels of pushing tables.....ahhh....Blackpool and other such seaside resorts were my gateway to interest in coin-op (and gambling).
