Some responses to my Mystic Pinball for sale.  Anyways am always somewhat leary on email responses, especially the first one where the person doesn't even ask any questions about the machine.  I dunno something fishe about this one....  Dave Brown sounds a little two generic, but then again you never know.  And what about the third one, Barrister......Huh!

Anyways before I respond what form of payment is best for international buyers?  Canadian Postal Money Order?  Royal Bank Money Order?  When I reply with the method of payment I am going to request a phone number to reach them at and also suggest they call me to discuss the machine etc.  What can I say I'm a bit of a skeptic.

What do you guys think?

All three sound like scams, don't even bother to respond as they will just end up selling your email address to junk mail companies.

fishe guy: No questions, just wants to send you money. lol. Ya I would love that to be true.

Dave Brown guy: Odd question to ask. Not worth the bother.

Barrister guy: He says he lives in London, yet wants to send you a USPS mail order? And since when do you get a "postal" money order from a bank? Fraud. If he was in London then he would want to send a Royal Mail Money Order (i.e UK money order).

I receive those kind of emails Constantly

it's 100% scam

The most common would be

>Hi is the item still available?

What is the Condition?

then you respond

>I would like to buy im very interesed i will pay 200$ more than your asking price
im buying for my brother in Nigieria
he will pay you by stormpay or something like that

Those are always scams
sucks cause it seems like craiglist doesn't block those mother *****

Yeah, that's what I thought.  Thanks for the input.  Whenever I receive emails in "Strange English" it usually sends up red flags.

Another good indicator of a scammer is that they never seem to follow up.  A further testiment to the fact that they're looking for someone reeeaallll stupid.
