suggestion: remove the text... and the ribbon too while you're at it.

We've been going at this since early August, and the current design seems to appeal to most people now.  

Make an informed choice.  Here are the things to consider:

Although I'm always willing to make adjustments to try and please the majority of people, I'd say this is likely the final version of the crest unless there's suddenly a large number of complaints.

The crest will take 21 days to produce from the point where I approve the embroidery company's artwork.  We're probably looking at the end of September / Early October as a delivery date if I submit the artwork now.  From that time, tack on another week for me to mail them out to everyone (two weeks if you're sending me a cheque).  

Changes to the artwork at this stage will mean further delaying the production of the crest.

The text on the crest comes from the actual game speech.  Black Knight says:

Defend thyself, Knight.
I challenge thee to fight me.
You cannot fight and win.
I will slay you, my enemy.
The BLACK KNIGHT will win again.
The BLACK KNIGHT will slay you.
Fight against me, the BLACK KNIGHT.
I will slay thee, Knight.

Phil:  I wasn't trying to shoot you down...but also realize, it's not possible to please everyone.  At some point you have to say "95% of the people like it, we have to go with it".    Maybe the next design will be more to your liking.

No problem.  Consider yourself added.

I got the artwork back from the embroidery company.  They had this to say:

"I know the yellow circle behind the knight is a little blotchy but it will just be a single shade of yellow in the final product."



This will be the first fully embroidered crest I've done.  100% of the area will be stitched.  All of the other crests used a coloured background fabric.

I'm told the end result will be absolutely stunning!!

It should arrive to me by Sept. 25

P.S.  I've asked the embroidery company to add a 14th colour to the mix...a pale tomato red for the "Black Knight" lettering.  I've also asked for them to reduce the size of the knight/horse just a little.  The horse's head was too close to the banner.
