I like how all these people that bought a BBB had to PROMISE and SWEAR that they would NOT auction these things off on Ebay for a profit..
We've now seen a few sell on RGP and now Ebay.
Money talks
And just to think how much people would've bitched if Gene would have built them and sold them on Ebay or any other way and be asking 10K..

If you want my opinion, they took the risk of sending thousands of dollars in deposit for something everyone said would never be done.
I find it funny now that the idiots who were bashing all around RGP are now buying them for over 10k from them. Its fun to watch..
P.S. I love RGP so much.... NOT ! P.P.S. There will be some of them circulating from now on at least, this is good for us overall. So who around MTL-Ottawa bought one ? WE KNOW WHERE JULY MEETING WILL BE HELD
Currently owning: - Solar Fire, Medusa, Flash Gordon, (Centaur), No Fear ------------------
I know 2 people in the GTA that have bought them, atleast that means I'll get to give it a try.
I didn't know the "lore" of this pinball well enough at the time, nor would I have gambled several thousands of dollars on this venture, but I admit I'm a bit envious of those who finally got one.
What was the final "MSRP" on those ? ( $6K US ? )
I'll certainly never own one, but I sure hope I get to play one some day ( ...hint, hint !
Not sure I'll have to ask, I know one of the people bought 2 machines with the anticipation of selling one. He said he wouldn't let it go for less then 10K last I talked to him.
Would any of us not do the same if we were in the same position? I know I would, no question. I could buy 2 or 3 A-List games for that amount.
BBB will become a collectors pin, like CC and MM. I know more than one colllectors that have these pins in their collection only because it needs to be in their collection and not because they like them. Let the collectors pay top dollar.
It has been scientifically proven that light is faster than sound. That is why some people seem brilliant........until they open their mouth!
He doesn't have the board set for kingpin, so you will be waiting a long time to see that. Plus they will be at least 6k. you could have picked up a bbb for 4500.00 as that what he was asking. I know three people who bought them so hopefully I will get a chance to play them as well.
current pins taf,lotr,cftbl,ngg,ij,tz,totan,tspp,shadow,t2,Wh20,rs,rfm sadly gone over 30 more pins.
DM swear roms and now this. So what do you think about getting someones word, from a person you really don't know. I'd say it's worth about as much as the paper it's written on.
Tell you what... If I win the 6/49 tonight, I will buy it! Then I will build a massive MAACA headquarters and fill it up with more pins... maybe buy Tim Arnold's collection!
Ok, here is not pin collector, but pin fool talking.
"But it's a BBB. It's worth it."
I don't knock any of the guys that bought one off the block. Good show, but to drop that on one now is... well is just silly in my books.
Totally agree. It's not that long ago that mint MM's started selling in the $10K to $12K USD range! Then they dropped, hard and fast. I suspect the value of this machine will decrease rapidly once the hype is over. I'm not talking about $2K BBB, but more like $8K or there abouts.
Well the story that goes with it and the low low production numbers will keep the price up there. I am almost willing to bet the next one will auction for even more, then eventually reality will take a grip and they will settle back to earth.

Well 13+ K seems crazy to me today. If I win that lottery http://tinyurl.com/2vrhhk then I will laying be down the cash. Then it's only being eccentric.
