After 4 months of waiting, promises to ship, frustration and almost having the deal cancelled, and a local TM scam to boot, my long awaited DE Time Machine is here. All the way from Texas, diverted to Montreal Dorval due to Forward Air closing in Ottawa and me figuring out how to get there between work and school pickup/dropoff time within 48 hours It all came together yesterday and now just to find room to set it up. It will be sweet - NOS ramps, NOS plastic set, nice playfield and very nice backglass, bullet proofed boards by Clive and nice cabinet. Definitely a keeper after all this.
I passed on this game 5 years ago when I first started collecting and have regretted it ever since. None ever seemed to come up and after buying the one in Texas in Dec, 4 popped up since then. Never fails.
Side benefit was dealing with this seller prompted me to contact Greg Walker in Kingston and came home with the new toys in the second picture. Time to learn a new system

Yep! I was on a mission in Allentown to find a Bally zipper flipper after falling in love with my friends 4 Million BC that's at my house. No luck in Allentown and then come home to these in my back yard (sort of). The Fireball is basically restored with some mild cabinet water damage and the 4 Million has been sitting for 10 years so will be a fun project to get going and learn on.
Greg was a great guy to deal with and had a great visit with he and his wife while picking up the games. They have a young baby and a major suckup cat "Max" so of course, I was in seventh heaven - babies, cats and pinballs all under one roof!

RFM. Not sure about that one tho. Bought it after lots of debating with myself whether I'd like this platform. Add the uncertainty to a few monitor issues right off the bat driving me nuts trying to fix and it's not impressing me so far. If Nucore wasn't coming to tempt me (ability of a new safe monitor to handle!), it would be out the door already. Time will tell......

The farthest I've done is Germany, Georgia and Texas a few times but always shipped and always by somebody that I knew basically thru RGP/emails and talking on the phone. Only done 1 crazy roadtrip to Boston and while fun and worked out with a great ES and very decent Gameshow - road trips for a game aren't for me between a son, vet hospital and pets. Even just getting away for Allentown was a lot of work this year altho DEFINITELY worth it!
I'm just glad you're ok. I haven't heard from you all week, I was starting to get worried.
