going to St.Johns Newfoundland for 10 days. need to play pinball... any places that have a pin??
Currently own: Stars, Firepower, F-14 tomcat (prototype), Popeye, Secret Service, Rollergames and HUO WPT. 5 megatouchs, 1 mame cab, 1 60-in-1, 2 Pachislos.
Previously owned: HSII geteway, CFTBL, black knight, time machine, STTNG, bonzai run, T2, secret service, gorgar, Fire, space station, South Park, TSPP, No Fear, Breakshot.
When I was there a few years ago, the only place I saw pins there are:
- on the ferry (Cape Breton - Port-aux-Basques) - at the Port-aux-Basques ferry terminal - Amusement place in Stephenville (or near there)...found the place with the shops' sticker on the pins which were on the ferry - Arcade in a big shopping mall in St. John's - THAT'S IT!!!
I should try to find my 2005 post which gave all the locations where I found pins on the Rock...
I hope you're luckier than me... I know that there's a maaca member from there, which could help you out...

I made the crossing 2 years ago and they had Elvis and TFTC. I enjoyed Elvis, TFTC was busted so no joy there.
In St. John's there is an arcade in the Avalon Mall near the movie theatres. They *had* Lethal Weapon, Dirty Harry and Twilight Zone. Not sure what they have now (if anything).
There's a member who drops by here occasionally (Defender) who lives in Mt. Pearl I think. Maybe he can help?
I was at the arcade in the Avalon mall in late February and the only pin was a TAF (in ok condition). Lots of vids but kids were avoiding the TAF as if it was a bear trap.

When I took the ferry, they had the Elvis and a Cue Ball Wizard (which most of you know that I hate witha passion) that was busted.
Yes, playing a pin on a ferry adds an extra 'challenge'...
The PAB terminal had a TFTC and a Getaway (both sucked)
The mall had the TZ (busted), TAF (busted) Hook and the LW3 (the only 'playable' machine)

thanks for all the replies. I was expecting some pins in bars on georges street. I guess I will check most of the places you guys listed and will update the pin in NFLD when I get back. leaving in 3 weeks for 10 days. pinball on the ferry sounds Fun.

When you are on George St the last thing you will want to do is play pinball...

I'm from St. John's, lived there 25 years. I'm in Ottawa now but still make the trip back 1-2 times a year.
