I knew HAL was crazy so I tried a few mis-alignments, but I guess not good enough  

Off to surf "fast draw" and that old typewriter HAL's talking about.

I agree though, it should look like the original as much as possible - which is why editting the scan would be the nicest.

Nice dactylo   and each dactylo have his own fonts !! Ouffff i'm crazy but not enough to find the right dactylo to reproduce those cards. And some card were print also !! Cards have almost all different fonts and method of printing.

Here's a part of my work. It will need around 1 hour to finish but it is very identical to the original.
On the original some letters are higher than others and some desalignement in the typography.
I try to repro this particularity.
