Came home today and my kids were playing with just on SF Rush.  They told me the other one was not working.  Turned it on and no video and the wheel did not turn when it should of been testing it.  Looked at the CPU board and compared it with the working one as far as LED indicators go.  The difference was on the nonworking one LED 2, 3 and 4 where on solid.  Manual says for 2 & 3 - Processor Reset (these should be off for normal operation) , for 4 - Reading Rom Instructions (this should be blinking for normal operation).  Any help would be appreciated.  Dam I had the boys over for Poker on Friday and all was well.

Well I swapped hard drives.  No luck.  Swapped power supplies.  No luck.  Swapped cpu board and game worked.  So problem with the board that previously worked.  Swapped each socketed IC from bad board to working board.  All three non sound IC's worked.  Damn.  Looks like I will have to find someone to work on the board.  Well when Bruno comes back from vacation I guess I will ask him unless someone else has some suggestions.
Thanks
Steve

How do you remove a microprocessor?  I have never removed one.  Looks like it is socketed but do you need a special tool or can you just use a small screw driver like socketed IC's.  I was thinking of swapping processors U100 but I think I remember seeing a special tool for this.  Let me know.
Thanks
Steve

It's just like any other IC except maybe more expensive. I purchased a chip pulling tool but really hate it, a screwdriver or something similar for me has proven less likely to damage the legs.
