I'm looking to buy a cleaner/waxer for my Whirlwind that I bought thx to you guys. The playfield is great but a little polish wouldn't hurt so.
Let me know whitch one is the best and where to get it if you know where to get it for cheap.

First:

  +

Then....

Then...

Any grocery store carries Magic Erasers and 99% alcohol. Canadian Tire carries Mother's Pure Carnauba wax. Novus 2 can be found at any plastics shop. Look in the yellow pages under "plastics". You can also order it from any of the on-line pinball parts retailers.

Clean the playfield using the magic eraser with alcohol. Then wipe the playfield with Novus 2. Buff. Then wax with pure carnauba wax. Buff again. Play.

So, do you put the alcohol ON the magic eraser then apply?

You may also want to consider Bleche-White, which is sold as Simonize White Wall Cleaner with Bleche-White.  It's harsher than Novus 2, but less abrasive than the Magic Eraser treatment.  Works a treat at removing grime on Diamond Plated playfields as a first step.  Be careful with it, your mileage may vary.

How long will this treatment protect the playfield, lets say, if I play everyday?

It depends on many factors. Dirt on a playfield partially comes from the mechanicals under the playfield. If you clean the top but do nothing on the bottom, it won't last as long. Same goes for all the hidden areas on a playfield. If you only clean the visible parts, the covered up areas remain filthy and will transfer dirt everywhere in time.

Ball age, ball rust, humidity in the ambiant air... all factors contributing to this.

From my own experience, the Treasure Cove kit doesn't do much for "treating" the PF as much as it cleans / polishes it.  After you use the TC kit, you should follow it up with a good wax to protect the PF (which also helps repel dirt)  As long as you wax it really good, and install new balls you should only have to wipe down the PF every 100 plays or so to keep it fairly clean.
