why? What are you thoughts?

I find Whitewater more fun to play, I love ramps and whitewater has them in spades.  Get flow, fun modes, great multiball, and you can't beat bigfoot.

Shadow is great as well, but what it comes down to end of the down to end of the day is going for Vengeance if you are looking to score points.  I like the uniqueness of Shadow but if I was forced to sell one of them I'd sell Shadow over Whitewater.  

Well then again that's not exactly true, my Shadow is in impeccable shape which is almost impossible to find, my Wh20 not so much, I think it would be harder to find a Shadow in the shape mine is then it would be to find another beat up Wh20.  

Just get both, that's what I did

Unless you like ramps and tight playfields.

I've got both, and I can't see myself getting rid of either.  Just two totally different games.

I do find that non-players gravitate towards Wh20 WAY more than Shadow, probably because Shadow is a real players game and kicks your a**.

I'd much rather have a Shadow than a Whitewater.

I have never owned either one, but I would buy both if they are priced fairly and in nice nice!

My first 2 pins were Whitewater and Shadow. I sold whitewater, then a year later, Shadow. I only miss the Shadow.

Shadow is a much better game in my books. Whitewater is alot of fun, but can be mastered and result in pretty long games. Shadow is a harder game with faster action and better music. I love Shadow. Great game.

Both are fun. But I sell a Shadow for a White Water? No. Congo for WhiteWater? Yes, I'd sell the Congo although I like it as well.

That's why I'm glad I've recently decided to just keep everything, makes this pesky problem of having to choose which game to sell not a problem anymore

Oh yeah, I like both pins but would have to give the nod to Whitewater.

Agree with Doug, two very differrent games. WH20 probably has more collector appeal but S is a very fine players game. Whitewater play is fun but probably not as deep and varied as S.

If you're looking for something for family & friends to enjoy or you're just a casual player then I'd say Whitewater.
Want to become a pinball wizard or have masochistic tendencies, then get Shadow.
