I'm interested in owning a jukebox - and surfed this video of the AMI R88.

A basic question, isn't the turntable spinning the wrong way for the needle?   I would have thought it would spin the other way around:

Many of these older AMI are like this.

The cartridge/needle is installed 'backwards' under the tone arm to accomodate this
'different than usual' direction of rotation of the record.
