Greets peeps!

Seeing that I'm fairly new at this hobby and owner of an older pin (HS) which requires occasional TLC, I was wondering if anyone who's been doing this for a while wouldn't mind bartering a couple of hours of their time for some of mine. I'm a graphic designer/desktop publisher by trade but can also help labour wise if needed. The machine has been giving me hours of great play time, but some bugs have surfaced that need attention (I can't play the machine presently). I'm sure it's something that would take someone experienced little time instead of hours of cussing and frustration from me to get it going again! Of course, I'd be looking over your shoulder in order to absorb the skillwork. I do have tools, soldering stand, etc.

Another option is to call Geoff Parr (spelling ?), he's an independant operator here in Ottawa.   I don't know him personally, but have talked to him on the phone.   He sounds very reasonable and has been in pins for 20 years.

He'll do house calls - and charges a very reasonable rate from what he quoted me on the phone (i.e., much much less than a car mechanic)!!
