I am heading into the US for a business trip this Sunday, and sadly... again... I will be merely passing thru Chicago. I am going to Peoria, Illinois for a training course for Caterpillar.

I know... fat chance... but any members close to there? I thought I would try...

One day, I will just drive down... just to have the opportunity on my way back to visit Chicago a bit. I am going back in October... but my conference then finishes on the 30th... and I have to get back pronto for Halloween for my son.

well, I will see if there is anything pinball or vid-wise in the area when I am down there. Funny thing is that in October, I am going to the same hotel I went on my first trip in 2004... and they had a gameroom... in a room open to the indoor swimming pool. I had never seen such a rusty T2 before... but it worked!

While your in the Chicago area - If you need any parts from Pinball Life, Terry will mail your order to your hotel, I've done it before ( and am doing it again in a couple of weeks ). It works out really well. You still have to bring them across the border, but they really don't hassle you if you've been away with a good reason, such as business/vacation etc.

I've never met any of them personnaly I don't think, but when I went to Cincinati, I just posted on RGP about being in the area and one of the Cincinati pinball league memebers invited me over to his place for a evening of pinball.  Was a good time.
