That segment was painful to watch. The handles/bars looked too flimsy to withstand route-abuse.

Yeah, I haven't seen the episode, but it appears a complete CHexx rip-off and less industrial..., will still be fun to watch to see their reaction to "coin-op" in general.

don't forget these guys had invested $1 million in development but I don't think they spent their money wisely for a fancy table hockey.

I would like a Super Chexx for the basement but I'm not interested in paying over $3000 for one. If I had that extra dough I'd be looking into a SM or LOTR instead ... or more Gottliebs!

I found last night's show to be really interesting ... it looks like a large percentage of the 'deals' they accept get turned down during do dilengence by either the dragons or the inventor

Hilarious!!!!! A million bucks spent on that?!?! Those guys were totally lost......

That game would last 5min in a bar. Those little sticks for handles would be broken, and the score topper would be ripped off.
Although a plus was that it looked like the puck actually rolled. Chexx should just rip-off that idea...

Owned one, gave it away.   Way to under-engineered even for home use.

But, come-on Ethous, did you not see the LED for a goal-light!   That'll draw the crowds

Love the show also.  Been watching it for the last 2 seasons now.  I like all the Dragons.
I saw that episode and it looked so crap.  I mean, it looked more colorful than the old Chexx but so flimsy alright

Hey believe it or not that's the one team i miss.
I loved the canadian vs nordiques.
2 loud crowds and it was noisy and maybe the best vs team rivalry.
not like sens vs leafs  you can almost here a pin drop it like watching golf at sens games.
I love the sens but theirs no noise like habs or leafs or calgary ect

Saw that show too. What I want to know is how you spend $1 million developing something like that, and how do you not research the competition? I got the impression it was as if they had never heard of or seen a Chexx machine. The players in their version were FLAT just like the kids tables! LAME!

**edit:
I want to add though that Super CHexx could and should be improved t keep up with the times. Digital sound is dirt cheap to use these days, they could put a full range of sounds like Don Cherry calling the gameplay, and lights, maybe even a small video screen scoreboard for a deluxe model.

It's all fun 'n games until you run out of space.
