Well guys..  My freind Peter (aka Pinball Pete) who has been inthe hobby for about 25 years... who was out of the hobby for a number of years until I pulled him back into it last year........  He is currently selling his two 1976 Royal Flushes on Kijiji...... (Yes he has two)....

Anyway, someone posted that the guy selling the Royal Flushes was Steven Anderson... and not to trust him.....

I emailed that guy to tell him he had it wrong, and I know the Guy who's sellingthem......  Guess who's email the reply came back from?????  You guessed it... Mark Utley......  well it was actually from

Vendo Fourtyfour (cokevendo44@yahoo.ca).......  who happens to be the same guy that was selling the Star Wars Machine around Christmas this past year....who it turned out was Mark Utley.

Yup - Mark Utley (aka Steven Anderson) is trying to ruin everyone elses sales buy informing everyone that whoever is selling is actually him......

WHAT A PRICK!!!!  some people are just pure evil!

Just thought I'd let you all know in case you try and sell your PINS.....

I recommend full disclosure when posting a pin for sale. Even your name if possible. One thing you can also do is post a link on your ad to a MAACA page. That always helps. MUttley can't post here without getting exposed quickly anyways.

  i think i put my biz address when i had to move something out last time.  i am going to start putting things at friends homes now so i don't have to sell.  well not intil i have to buy a house.  

so I just emailed Vendo Fourtyfour asking where my Star Wars machine is and he told me if I want to find the "real" Mr. Anderson I should check the Royal Flushes kijiji ad.  He then said he went to look at it and found Mr. Anderson with some guy named Pete.  Man this guy is just too much

What was the result of your Star Wars issues?

I know Peter and he is NOT a friend of Mark Uttley......  In fact... a number of years back as Pete tells it... Mark screwed him on a deal.... so Pete went over to Mark's house at the time and smashed 4 of his machines (i.e. the deal PINS) to pieces....  mark never came round agian..... so that's why he's trying to mess with Peter's sale..

I can guarantee he has not been over to see the machines, and I can also guarantee that he has not set foot around Peter... or Peter would smack him around....

If Peter posted M.Uttley's address, I am sure that a few other members would love to take care of some business... I don't mean smashing things, but at least face him directly with a few police officers if needed.

But yeah... vigilante justice, although not recommended, can be satisfying at times.

Well I got my money back through the bank...but no pin and Mark Utley still made off with the $1800 (got my money from some type of bank fraud protection thing I have on my account)

would like to run into Mark some day though...there would be 3 hits

1. me hitting him
2. him hitting the floor
3. ambulance hitting the gas

This guy gives pinball a bad name...luckily since my dealings with him I have met some really cool pinheads and have decided to get into the hobby by buying a couple machines from MAACA members.  

Like I said about him and others like Jebsen in Calgary... it Uttley... uh ... utterly amazes me that no one has gone and kicked their a** yet... I mean, if you are in the business of screwing over people, eventually you will end up screwing over the wrong guy... and the worst of it is that the cops probably have a file a foot thick on them, ans still nothing gets done.

Ya, as long as you follow some best practices, you should do ok.

When buying a pin:
1) Pay and pick up in person if you can. Safest and most convenient of all options.
2) If you can't pick it up, ask if the seller can deliver (for an extra fee). That way, you still pay when you have access to the machine, and won't get screwed.
3) If buying from afar, get a character opinion from another maaca member (or 2) that you trust. Or you could even start a thread asking about a guy you found on kijiji, someone is bound to know the guy, or can spot a scam.
4) Don't buy from ebay, especially if the seller has a low reputation. In fact, don't buy anything from ebay ever if you can help it.

Wow I'd love to hear more about this as I've called my bank (RBC) and apparently there's nothing they can do as it was all handled through EMT.. was yours via EMT as well?
