Hey,

I was in Playdium yesterday looking at POC and Batman DK. I found the ball times were really long. The themes are great and some of the play is very interesting. However I think that the play might be way too easy and result in veru long games.

Anyone that owns these find that they are fairly easy?

Come to my OPL meeting and play Sterns set up for home use. The games in Playdium are always set on easy with factory outlanes, lots of free balls etc. In home use, you open outlanes, clean and wax the playfield, white rubbers, less or no extra balls and improves the gameplay immensely. Some games are still longer ball times   - depends on the game and layout but much more enjoyable to play when set up harder.

I don't own Batman yet but have POTC set up among other Sterns so you can try out a few.

ME knows what she is talking about. She owns more Sterns than the rest of us combined Out of the box, they are definitely too easy. Open up the outlanes, increase the back legs, wax, etc. as ME mentioned and the game improves dramatically.

Phil (Mr. Hide) is quick to trash Sterns, but he is an exceptional player. I've seen him play AFM and that took forever. I imagine when he plays TZ that takes for ever as well, so his "long ball times" are not limited to Stern games.
